To stop the L5 error the sensor is to be aligned 1/8" away from magnet on the roller. I just ordered a new sensor for $4.99 from Sears because mine has been causing me trouble for awhile now.

Its a sensor that needs to be re-adjusted you can either attempt to fix it on your own or take it in to a specialist to get it fixed. Takes a pro about fifteen minutes to reallign.

I've got a similar issue, there was a pop and flash from the treadmill on the right hand side, the electrics work, but the treadmill isnt working and I get an E1 message.

anyone have any clues please or anyone who has an online pdf of the error codes or instructions manual.
