UPVC door won't unlock. Key turns both ways but handle won't go down?

sounds like either the mech has feiled or the euro cylinder but most likly the mech you will probably need a locksmiths to open the door to find out which has gone, if your mech is a ferco or gu try pushing down really hard on the handle this will break the mech but it can still be used for a little while until you get a new one anyway
