Our pvc door has become difficult to lock, when we close the door and push up the handle to engage the locking bolts we have to really force the handle right up to the top so the key will turn. Is there any way of adjusting to solve this problem?
Take all the keeps off door except centre one refit them one at a time checking each time if door locks until you find which one is the problem. You may find you need to lift door on adjusters which are on the hinges.

If the door is open and you lift the handle is this still stiff? If not then the bolts are not lining up with the keep in the frame. On pcv doors there are usually adjusters that can be turned to lift or drop the door to line up the extending bolts.
If the the handle is still stiff then you may need a new locking strip.
