How can I fix a lock on a pvc door?

Take all the keeps off door except centre one refit them one at a time checking each time if door locks until you find which one is the problem. You may find you need to lift door on adjusters which are on the hinges.

If the door is open and you lift the handle is this still stiff? If not then the bolts are not lining up with the keep in the frame. On pcv doors there are usually adjusters that can be turned to lift or drop the door to line up the extending bolts.
If the the handle is still stiff then you may need a new locking strip.
