Changing to a digital timer?

I have a Myson Velaire oil boiler which, although a few years old, is still working perfectly. We are at present refurbing our kitchen and had thought about changing the boiler but decided that the quotes we were getting prohibitted the idea (and to be honest it would be daft repacing something which isn't broken). My question is this: can the old manual timer be changed to a more user friendly digital model? and if so is there a particular model I need. Thanks.
