how can I fix my tx455 sportcraft treadmill?

my tradmill just stopped during a workout no key for it either

where does the safety key go and it doesn't turn on. do i need a new safety key or board. thanks.

E3 – No speed sensor reading. Unit shuts down. This is the most difficult repair diagnose. The speed sensor is connected to the frame of the treadmill near the drive pulley on the front roller. There is a small magnet on the side of the pulley wheel. The sensor tip must be no more than 5mm from the magnet. If for any reason the distance is greater than 5mm the treadmill will shutdown

I found that the speed sensor wheel on mine wouldn't stay on, I hot glued it & resest the E 7 code as above, it works great now.

Error code E7 occurs when the treadmill experiences a runaway situation or otherwise senses that the speed is not under the control of the console. When the error occurs, you the console locks out and you cannot use the treadmill again until the console is reset. Resetting the console will not necessarily remedy the situation if the electronics are faulty; in that case, the console needs to be replaced. But before you have the console replaced, you can try to reset the console yourself and hope that the error will not recur.

To reset the console:
1. Press and HOLD the MODE and STOP buttons while simultaneously turning the power off by removing the Safety Key.
2. Continue to hold MODE and STOP and replace the Safety Key. The console will beep.
3. Press Speed up ONE time.
4. Release all buttons.

try holding down mode and stop at the same time while removing the safety key and then re-insert the safety key.
