hi lorna....first of all make a drawing of how the belt goes round all the pulleys etc this avoids the hassle when it is time to put the new one on...loosen the belt tentioner slip the old belt off and round the fan.. then replace belt adjust/tighten tensioner start engine and check.. its a big/long belt by the way...but remember to study how the belt goes prior to taking off. good luck
