Mend Washing Machine Cycles Clothes

no mannual?

i brought this washing machine second hand.it has not got the front bit of the draw where the soap powder goes,and as it has not come with a mannual. i dont no what letter washes what or does what.also i dont no how to work the dry.i tryed to put dryer on and i ended up washing the cloths again?
