Mend Indesit W1235 Washing Machine Drum

How can I remove a bra underwire from my indesit washing machine w1235?

Our machine has an underwire from one of my wifes bra's that has somehow fallen through the drum. Everytime it starts a spin cycle it makes a horrendous racket and is probably doing some damage. Any ideas on how to remove it?

I had this happen once and by turning the drum very slowly by hand the wire sprang through one of the holes in the drum and I was able to remove it by pulling it through the drum with pliers.

I was incredibly lucky I know, but may be worth a try.
