where is the ecu located on the ford escort van 55 - 1997?

where is the ecu located on the ford escort van 55 - 1997?
i am trying to locate where the ecu is on this van.
also a red light keeps displaying on the dashboard where the clock is which i think is the immobiliser light.
plus the van is driving really slowly - so there is an obvious problem ?
any help would be appreciated?
