It really should come off the lighting circuit but to connect a light to the circuit the blue wires should be joined independently the two brown wires will then go com from the plug and l1 to the light as the other (l2) is for two way switching it is not a recommended way of wiring lighting as the plug circuit current fusing would in extreme circumstances allow the wire to overheat before detecting a fault it would be better to come off the ceiling rose in the nearest room even if it is awkward to get to
