how can i fix my Worcester 28CDI ?

I do not have a room stat fitted but have always used the heating control on the boiler ,i now have it virtually on maximum as if i try to turn it down the boiler just constantly clicks to light then immediately goes off this keeps up repetitively and is not just due to the current cold weather any ideas ?
