Mend Peugeot 307 hdi Lock Car Light

how can i fix central locking?

my boot wont lock when i close it which means the whole car wont lock either, the interior light keeps flashing because of this, how do i fix this, is it a major electrical problem. ITs a Peugeot 307 hdi. i have changed the battery in the fob too.
