Mend Lights Power Coming

no lights but have power coming in to sockets?

1/2 of home has power and other doesn't replaced outlets and switches also light fixtures didn't work what else can i try to troubleshoot. i checked an outlet an wires were loose so fixed and turned power on and some of the lights worked and then tripped breaker.
