sharp lcd aquos lc-20s1e stuck in standby?

does anyone have a clue, is it the power pack or do i need a part please help

i have the same exact model which has hardly been used but is a few years old with exactly the same fault. Please please can anybody help US !

I have had this problem and use a combination of switching off at the mains and/or clicking off the lcd tv on/off button. I now switch off at the mains and it's ok.
