Mend Zanussi 3500 Freezer Motor Noise

why is the motor so noisy? Zanussi upright freezer Model 3500?

The noise level of the motor has got more noticeable recently - its a very high-pitched, shrill sound that bothers my ears.
Zanussi 3500 upright freezer - still works well and looks as good as new
