Zanussi Fridge Freezer ZNB 3440 Very Noisy?

I have the same model, again after about two years, it developed a rattling noise which I believe was the compressor. The noise disappeared then we discovered that frozen food wasn't frozen, or only partially frozen. I believe it is something to do with the frost free compressor as it is now frosting up. Going to replace it very soon. Luckily I have another fridge freezer in the garage.

manually defrost it for 24 hrs with both doors open.retry and hopefully noise has gone
