Mend BMW Z3 Car Unlock Work

BMW Z3 car alarm on constantly?

My BMW Z3 car alarm will not turn off. Yesterday as the keyfob unlock didn't work so I unlocked the car manually with the key. The alarm went off and hasn't stopped since - if I open the car door the alarm goes. I cannot use the key fob anymore - although it lights up so does not need new battery. Can't use the car until this is sorted. Any clues ?

Have a look in the boot left hand side ,there is a well .This is probably full of water which has leaked from the roof.
In the well is the relay and printed circuits which control alarms etc.
You should remove and dry it out or perhaps renow
