Mend Honda G400-1393887 Engine Compression

Honda G400 Stuck Engine Valve?

Just bought this Honda engine model number G400-1393887 that has been sat for a long time got the engine to turn over but wouldn't start. Had no compression.

Took off the head and noticed the inlet valve is stuck open? How do I fix this?

some mowers allow one of the valves to remain open to shut it off quick and to stop overrun in an emergency hope this is helpful

Let it soak in paraffin (around valve guide) for a few days, then carefully tap the valve free, working it up and down with a little paraffin, NOTE: don't hit it too hard...! when it is free apply a little oil to the valve guide.
