Dodge Van Ram 1500 360 90,000 speedo speedometer bounces?

Have Dodge Van, as soon as speedo hit 90,000 speedo quit working and abs light came on as far as I know these should be 2 completey different problem's. Is this programmed into computor just to get you to take into dealer. It just seems so odd that right at 90,000 this happened. Brakes don't seem any different, work fine. Now speedo is jumping, bounceing.

have replace sensor with new one, didn't cure problem next?

The ABS is comin on because it montors speed of vechile as compared to the speed of each wheel and that way it can sense if ABS is needed or not ....brakes will be the same but your ABS will be disabled .......you didn`t mention what year but if the speedometer is a cable driven one it might be as simple as lubing the inside cable or just replacement ......the abs will be back to normal and speedo will be Ok ...if its a electronic type it will take a little bit more diagnostics ...could be cluster or vechile speed sensor or even a internal trans problem for the vss. good luck
