Mend Dyson DC04 Dc04 Belt

Faulty Dyson DC04 with brush control?

Brush has stopped rotating although the belt appears to be sound. Motor sounds fine and there is plenty of 'suck' via the extension hose. No blockages found.
Brush is easily rotated by hand.
