The drive belt had broken so i purchased a new one which i have just fitted. When i tried to use it the belt split where it goes over the drive spindle without turning the brush roller. Before swithcing on once i had fitted the belt i tried turning the brush roller by hand and it moved freely ?
This doesn't help much....But in your shoes I'd take the belt back, relate the problem and demand a Free Replacement. OR: Better still, phone them first, arrange a time for someone to be there in the shop to FREELY replace it for you.........If that doesn't solve the provblem...you know it's something else causing it.
