fuel starvation on Stihl 180?

try turning the "H" carb setting counter clockwise to richen the mixture, if it makes it worse then turn it in. Standard adjustment is usually made by turning it all the way in then one turn out. If this doesn't work, make sure your fuel filter isn't blocked, your fuel pipe isnt kinked and your air filter has been washed out and is free breathing.
