strange sound from engine (Renault Clio 04 diesel)?
When i accelerate my car makes a sound that sounds like air either suckin in or blowing out, its a diesel, i had the filter of and had a good lock round but couldnt see anything wrong, any suggestions?
Well since noone else added an answer, i found it myself, if anyone else has this problem its a tube that popped of at the back of the engine, its under the filter and then behind the engine, its awkward to fit back on and is some fiddly work. i did it the first time and it was still slightly maaking the noise, do it again and put it on further if this happens and then re - tighten, this should then fix the problem.
