how can i restart my clio diesel 2001 after the alarm came on? ?

how can restart my clio diesel 2001 after the alarm came on?
i had to disconect the battery to stop the alarm sound, then reconnected it but now i cannot restart the clio. the starter doesnt seems to try to start the car, just running without starting

usually if you lock it up after you fit battery and press fob to unlock it and take alarm off check light inside to see imobiliser is off it will start
