panasonic dmr es20d dvd recorder remote?

hi there can anyone help me to fix my panasonic dmr es20d dvd recorder remote control i went into settings and changed the code on my recorder to 2 now i cant access my recorder it keeps saying remote 02 how can i fix it back to 01 i have tried holding enter and 1 but no joy i then tried enter and 2 still no joy can anyone help me please thanks
