i have a micromark alarm system micromark Z9495A, I took it out a couple of years ago but I want to use again , I can't remember my ppin no more. How can I reset it plz help thanks .

Need help lost manual and cannot get it to set again after power was off all day and battery was flat .

I bought a house with Micromark z9495a. I don't have the manual nor the access codes.
I opened the alarm because the battery was completely dead.
Can you send me the manual or or tell me a link where to find it? How reactivated the code?

everyone is correct but you need to open up the alarm box control panel and take off the battery connection inside as well as the mains then when you reconnect both the system has defaulted back to factory settings you can then re program your own number in by doing this

enter 1122
press "programme"
enter new 4 digit code
enter new 4 digit code again
system now goes back to test mode and you can now use your new code to set etc

Hi, I have a Micromark z23022 with the same problem. I have bought a flat and inherited the alarm system. I have no paperwork on it. Will the reset code be a universal one? or is each alarm different?

Either way can anyone help me reset it ;)

Funny that as I have the same alarm but forgot the pin and cannot find the paperwork either.
Has any one got the user guide they can email to me please?

As the system has powered down the passcode should reset itself. You will need to know the default code for the system which is given in the paperwork.
