AEG Lavamat W 1250 Electronic noisy on spinning?

I live in Swindon. We've had the machine for 6 yrs and used it about 3 times a week on average. Lately it has been extremely noisy on spinning and produced brown water on the floor. After cleaning the drain pump (not much in it as wife always shakes everything before loading it) I opened it at the back and removed the drive belt. On rotating the drum it makes a harsh mretallic noise almost as if the drum bush(es) are worn.
Am I on the right track here?
If so, cCan the bush(es) be easily replaced?
Where do I go for someone to do it who won't bancrupt me in the process?
