i want to add a radiator to my porch ,i have located flow and return pipes, i have an oil boiler with small tank in the loft. do i have to drain system ? i have heard pipes can be froze either side ofjions , can anyone help please.
thanks fred , do you think i can use plastic push joins instead of solder joints,i can do solder joints but i am slow ,push joints would be much quicker ?

yes you can hire a pipe freezing kit and freeze pipes before you join on new piework [you haveto work quickly or keep refreezing]
