Mend Thomson DS214 New Ive Plugged

how can i fix this?

ive got a new thomson ds214 box and ive plugged all the leads in and then when i switch it on its coming up saying no satelite signal being recieved. could the aerial lead need cutting longer. what u think as it works in my other box absolutley fine.

just maks sure that you have the aerial lead pluged into the right port on that box ,,
