my fuse has blown on my old fuseboard what fuse rating would you recomend f?

TO REITERATE THE OTHER REPLIERS

NEVER REWIRE OR REPLACE ANY TYPE OF FUSE WITH A HIGHER RATING THAN SPECIFIED AS YOU RISK ELECTRICUTION AND OR FIRE IF THE FUSE IS TOO HIGH RATED TO BLOW.

If you are the owner then get in touch with your electricity supplier and ask if they do a 'free visual' inspection of wiring, and of course it's as it is said, they check only what they can see. For a more extensive check there is a fee which you can discuss at the same time.
You may be lucky and only need the fuse board changed.

Repacing the fuse with a higher amp fuse would be dangerous because if ther is aproblem wiring would get hotter and possible cause a fire or futher wiring problems from overheating
