how can i fix my potterton suprima 40?

my potterton suprima 40 keeps cutting out from green light to flashing red. this obviously means i have no heating and hot water until i reset it. can you tell me what the problem is

I have exactly the same problem... I can force the boiler and pump to start up for about a minute and a half then shuts down and status light is flashing green continuously then changes colour to orange.. I try and reset but then click to red...

Have to swicth of switch back on again press reset button to bring back to orange... Does anyone have any ideas and would the valves cause this problem... or is it jus pcb...

Hi Karl, I have a similar problem (i've not yet fixed) but google-ing "potterton suprima 40 common faults" point very much to faulty PCB (Printed Circuit Board) unit in them. It may not be a DIY fix unfortunatly.
