Mend Optima XM Xm Alarm Zone

Optima XM alarm goes off after setting?

Our Optima XM alarm has gone off during the last few days, it dosn't go off straight away only after having been out for some time . when we return the Zone 3 red light is on but there is nothing apparent that could of triggered it. Could this be down to the battery?

unlikely its the battery, more like zone 3 has a fault, perhaps the pir has an intermittant fault or is there a spider inside it?
