Firstly - you need a new Heating Element at £27.85 + £3.50 delivery (e-bay item: part no. 1703249). Easy to fit by taking off rear metal panel *POWER OFF/PLUG OUT*. You also need to take off side panel to unplug old element. Then you unscrew heating element from removed metal plate, replace this whole part with new part by screwing it to metal plate, reconnect small white plastic block through small hole at base of machine....then re-affix metal panel. All being well you're good to go!
Alternatively...and cheaper...if heating element is not burnt out....you may just need the thermostat kit (two wee wired gizmos on top of the element part) these are only £4.39 + £2.99 dely at espares.co.uk Stock Number: ES1063487 ).***WARNING***you'll have a lot of fluff to clear out from inside of machine (design fault and safety FIRE fault with IS60V)...be careful as VERY SHARP metal edges inside too!!! Good Luck.
