Mend R12 Repaired Leak System

how can I regas a R12 freezer?

I have repaired the leak but would now like to recharge the system.

R12 is not a legally usable gas any more in UK .there are alternative gases available but you need vacuum equipment and weighing equipment so its not a diy job as kit cost a fortune.as for getting someone in to do it for you it will not be cheap and bearing in mind the age of this appliance to have R12 gas it becomes uneconomical to repair.
