Hi, it sounds like either the RAM is faulty or the motherboard. Try some more RAM. I would suggest borrowing some from a working laptop (from friends/family maybe?), and then seeing what happens. You would obviously have to take out your RAM located underneath the laptop and likewise with the other laptop. Thats probably the cheapest way to diagnose the problem. If it still does the same thing, then it is likely to be motherboard. I hope I havent been too technical, but this is as simple as it can be put. If you wish to obtain data from the hard drive, you could alwyas remove it and put it into another laptop, or into an external enclosure and then access it on another computer. You can connect the laptop to your TV, but it must POST. This means that it must pass all the tests. Three beeps usually means it has failed POST, and so cannot continue and load up. As mentioned earlier, it could be the RAM or the motherboard. Hope the information helps
