sounds like the same problem that I have.
My local repair agent said that it was probably not worth fixing.
After speaking to Indesit they said that the thing to do was to power off at the mains then do a reset (how to do this is in the manual apparently)
Although this sounds a bit like a stock answer!!
The alternative is to cough up £149 and sign up for their service plan and get this fixed and a 1 yr guarantee as well.
Sounded like getting it fixed would be more expensive.
I think if the reset doesnt work its probably time for a new one!!
