fuel filling problem?

I believe there is a small pipe or hose that runs from the tank back up to near the filler neck, its purpose is to allow air out as you put fuel in. It sounds as if this has got blocked/squashed/damaged. See if you can find where it leaves the tank and follow it back up to where it terminates. It may be completely caked over with road mud - hence blocked. Good luck
