MY Whirlpool ADP6830 stops with a F8 error, what does it mean?

F8 means you have a blockage in your drainage pipe and this can be repaired at home by a normal dude with a couple of screwdrivers and a little common sense, hope this helps

Technician came out and replaced the spray pump motor. No more F8 error!

It's running quieter and smoother than when I first bought it which leads me to believe it was a dud out of the factory.

I don't have an answer for this but I am having the same problem with my Whirlpool ADP5550.

Washes for a certain amount of time then makes a lot of noise sounds like a pump is stopping/starting. Then my pipes knock a bit and after a couple of minutes the dishwasher stops with F8.

Already had a technician out who ran the self test which went through fine. He told me to change the powder I am using and not use rinse aid - nothing he said has worked.

Whirlpool support is rubbish, if the self test goes through okay which it does ( big deal ) they will say there is no problem and charge you.

Anyone got any ideas here? I have checked the filter and am about to throw this thing in the river.

Same here. Its brand new (only the second time I have used it . First time was no problem) and cleans the dishes but not quite dries them. Whirlpool say that an F8 message relates to water pressure/level fault. They said the most likely thing could be a kink in the water inlet hose. Seems odd as it has already cleaned and rinsed the dishes before it suffers from problem.
