Ideal Classic Boiler/Drayton Tempus seven programmer?
This morning the heating failed to come on. Initially I thought the boiler was the problem, yet the pilot light is still on.
The Drayton Tempus seven still has its two lights on, but is unable to fire up the system.
My question is, is it likely that its the programmer at fault and not the boiler and by simply replacing the Tempus seven, will solve the problem ?
I had the same problem with a Tempus 3.
I thought it was the zone valve that had gone wrong.
It turned out that the programmer was showing the heating to be on but it wasn't telling the valve (no live feed to valve).
