I have a Panasonic DVD/CD Player RV32 model. It has a DVD jammed in the tray which will not open and gives two code displays F498 & F499. How can I get the DVD out please?
Many thanks to D Taylor. Advice was spot on and after removing the cover, I managed to get the DVD free and is playing perfectly again!

If the actual cd is jamed while the tray is 1/2 way in, you could put a little force on it or remove the top cover and remove the support cover that goes over the cd then remove the cd and replace the support tray and cover. Hope this helps
