Pilot Light?

My pilot light keeps going out on my gas fire, coal efect, I light the pilot light, Turn on the fire, All is well, Switch of the fire, When i come to light it!, no pilot light, I have to ignight it, then all is fine again, can anyone help please,

The pilot is probably barely touching the t/coupling hence shutting off to safety.Check below the pilot flame.There is usually an aeration hole that can get blocked causing the flame to burn yellow in colour.Blow thro that and you should find the flame becomes bigger and more stable.
