Mend Scantronic 9448+ Moved Previous Left Code

How do I arm a scantronic 9448+style?

I have just moved into my property. The previous tennants have left an alarm code but there is nothing here to show me how to arm it. I have looked at the download available but that only seems to show how to install it and test it. Am I just being blonde?

to arm the system when leaving the house press the 4 digit code, you should get a long continuous tone, if the tone is interupted, then a zone is open, go out the door, when the continuous tone stops, the system is set, when entering the house, the entry tone will start, press the 4 digit code
