landis gyr rwb 200 timer?

Any bright flash accompanied with a fuse blowing indicates an electrical short.
Replace. The RWB200 is a two channel timer with the option of "Gravity" or "Fully pumped system"

Your replacement would need to be similar.
The RWB also uses a standard backplate so the new one should simply fit on without interfering with the wiring.

My Landis gyr rwb 200 timer just stopped working this morning, when i replaced the fuse, twice, there was a bright flash and a popping noise from within the timer!
Does this mean its had it and needs replacing?

The battery is only for mains failure back up.. try pressing the reset button, you will need to use a ball point pen, still no luck replace the unit, you may even be able to fit a more advanced one using the existing base plate.
