why does my radio go off and show TEL on the screen?
my radio has recently started going off the air and showing TEL on the display screen. What is happening and how do I fix it?? Could it suddenly be a loose connection? It is a standard ford falcon EL radio/cassette
Tel denotes that the Phone circuit has developed a fault,simple to repair but can only be done by a service engineer. It can also happen if there is a Phone kit in car and the installation has been done badly.
