I have had to disconnect the battery to fix my ka (yet again might I add) and now need the stero code - which I don't have. Ford want to charge £22.50 to give me the code after taking my stereo out - if I take it our myself and copy down the serial number will I still be charge for the priviledge of looking it up on the computer? I have paid ford 3 times over for this car and am a bit fed up of paying for any more. If any one knows how to get a free be from them please let me know!
If you do not have the code you can obtain them by calling: 0906 755 0166 calls cost 75p per min but they are realy fast normally only takes under a miniute.

go to a different Ford dealer with radio serial numberand ask for help. I have done this several times for friends and family and never been refused help if I prove ownership. Hope this helps.
