Flashing Key sign?

I can't make my washing machine work as there is a flashing key sign. Does this mean it needs a service? Hope not! or is it something really simple that perhaps someone knows the answer too!

Don't know what type of machine you have but a key would usually indicate the machine is locked (prob a child lock) can normaly be turned off by pushing and holding 1 or 2 of the facia buttons but refer to your user manual

sounds like its a conection problem with door locking device, it may of become over warn with use or you may have a part lodged it seal some where causing closing not to happen correctly try holdind door pushed in n c if this sorts it , 07857 234599
