Presser foot up, Select straight stitch, Thread the top of the machine up all the way down through the needle, Open the slide plate, Push the little white button over to the right to raise the winder, Wind the thread around the screw that holds the presser foot on a few times, Bobbin in, Press on the foot control slowly to wind the bobbin, When you have enough thread on the bobbin stop and close the slide plate, that will drop the winder down, Pull the threads to the back of the machine and start to sew.
