My heating kept going on and turning off at random also. I had a plumber out who said the problem was the clock.He said because it is a brown one and you cannot get them anymore my best bet is to have a new central heating system put in!!
Is it not possible to replace the brown EP2000 with a white one, surely the wiring cannot be that much different.Please help.
You are correct. The new white Potterton programmer is an exact swap for the old one. The back plate is the same so it is only the front that needs changing. Dont ask the guy who told you to get a new system to do it - sounds like he's after you cash!
