how do i fix my subaru?

fuel pump works on 12volts on a battery but its not workin in the car...

oh and forgot to say have you checked fuse and relay for your pump before you go and shell out for a new one

I have a bmw that had exactly the same prob,I changed pump and is ok now,I was told the pump was to weak to move fuel around,maybe the same with yours
