Mend Boiler Thermostat Heating System

Individual radiator thermostats dont turn off ?

I have set each radiator thermostat to off in unused rooms, despite this they are burning hot. The only way i can turn them off is to turn the whole heating system off at the boiler. I dont have any room thermostats just the ones on each radiator. Is there anything i can do to fix the problem, it just suddently happened the other night after i tried to bleed one of the radiators, a lot of air hissed out but still no heat getting through to that one at all. Its a pretty old boiler.

how exactly do you take off an Oventrop Thermostatic Radiator Valve? It is made of plastic so I do not want to damage it

element in side will have broken , none repairable part
will need replacing.u can still turn them off by vavle on op/side ,unscrew the screw on top of this vavle take off plastic cover turn off with plyers.as 4 one that will not come on take top of thermo vavle ,u will see pin in middle of part left on rad oil tap lightly until it pops up
some times they get stuck
